A Message from Tom

Thank you for visiting This site was one of the changes we did not envision 40 years ago But we have embraced it because it helps close the miles between us. IFRA is a non-profit 501c3 association run by nine directors who are either owners or retired owners of independent food retail businesses. All volunteer their time.

You can see some of our member stores on our home page. They are located in towns from Sioux Ste Marie to Jackson. We are a strong organization, committed to one another for future success. In some cases, that means three generations of ownership. Maybe like you.

I look forward to the opportunity to explain why you would profit from membership so I hope you will not hesitate to contact me.
